To my fellow guys and gals who have dark circles under their eyes, how good is it when you find an awesome concealer to cover up those pesky dark circles?!
For me, it’s a moment. The application, followed by the shade and consistency analysis. And ultimately, it’s ability to conceal! To conceal and keep concealing all day long!
Here’s me joining a party that started a long time ago. The tarte shape tape concealer party.
This was a game changing concealer and I’ve got no idea why it’s taken me so long to jump aboard. But now that I have, I am one happy dark-circled-but-you-wouldn’t-know-it camper.
This is a wonderful creamy and hydrating concealer. I love applying it on my undereyes and then I use any access around the rest of my face to cover any blemishes and even out my skin over my face. The shade range is brilliant and I can use just the concealer with no foundation on my more natural days (aka, lazy days!), which is what I’m aiming to get to – a less ‘full face’ make-up, more natural look.
I’ve been using this in shade medium-tan golden and it’s perfect, I absolutely love it!
This is a full coverage concealer which works like magic. It blends into the skin like silk and is buildable without flaking around the delicate skin around the eye area.
The hydrating factor of this concealer is a much needed bonus for me as my skin is dry and usually concealers and foundations that aren’t hydrating make my skin look worse, but this concealer lasts all day and won’t make my undereye look cakey or patchy.
For such a brilliant concealer it’s reasonably priced at £23 and if you’re lucky you might catch it on sale (currently £17 on the tarte website as of posting date).
It’s simply perfect! Definitely a concealer worth checking out if you, too, have dark circles. In fact, I think this might be my new favourite concealer.
PS, it smells really nice too!
