I’m a big Clarins fan and recently brought a couple of bits from there.
Firstly, I brought the Clarins Instant Eye Makeup Remover. This is my third bottle and I absolutely love it. I wear quite a lot of mascara and removing it, as we all know, is a real chore but this remover makes that so much easier and effortlessly wipes eye makeup away dissolving all traces of mascara from the lashes.
I usually pour some on to a cotton pad and just hold it over each (closed!) eye for a few seconds and then gently glide it across the eye. There’s really no need to rub or scrub to remove the make up as the lotion does it so effortlessly.
The product is also really gentle on the sensitive skin around the eye area. I’ve used other products in the past which sometimes sting, but this Clarins remover doesn’t do that – I love it!
A 125ml bottle is £20.
Next up, I brought the Clarins Multi Active Night Face Cream which I adore. I got this as a tester earlier this year and fell in love with it immediately. It makes my skin feel so nourished and soft; it’s also one of the best smelling face creams I’ve ever used! It absorbs brilliantly and is a nice and light texture.
This comes in at £44 for 50ml.
With these purchases I was given a few samples; three of the samples were miniatures of the above mentioned products. The first of the other two was a 5ml tube of the SOS Pure Rebalancing Clay Mask, which is for combination to oily skin and leaves the skin toned, matte and rebalanced. The second sample was a 10ml bottle of their Cleansing Milk, which will cleanse and remove all make-up leaving the skin clear and luminous.
Some great products to try for the first time there and of course my favourites in smaller bottles which will great for overnight stays away from home.
Let me know in the comments if you’ve used any of these products and what you think of them, or indeed if you’d recommend any other Clarins products.
