You may have ready my Coconut Addict post a couple of months ago where I brought a few items that were all coconut-ty based of which included the Lee Stafford CoCo LoCo Shampoo and Conditioner.
Well I’ve just ‘finished’ the bottles and thought I’d give a quick review of the products.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t too thrilled with either the shampoo or conditioner.
The shampoo doesn’t lather very well and I could feel my hair getting very knotty as I washed my hair.
The conditioner doesn’t really help much with that… I usually run my fingers through my hair when I condition my hair but just couldn’t when using these products without pulling my hair out! The conditioner almost isn’t worth using – my hair felt like it hadn’t been conditioned as I styled or dried my hair.
It made my hair feel very dry and like straw-like and my hair was constantly very knotty too. I usually never have an issue with knots in my hair even though it’s long in length – I usually brush my hair in the morning and in the evening before bed and that’s all it takes to keep it knot free. But while I was using this shampoo and conditioner I actually brought a hairbrush just to keep at work as the knots were really frustrating during the day.
The only pro for me is that it’s nice smelling – but only very subtly so. Other than that I just wasn’t impressed at all.
So much so, that as I got the last of the shampoo and conditioner I decided to throw it out – I probably could have got another 2 washes out of it, but was looking forward to moving on to another product so much that I just couldn’t deal with another hair wash with the Lee Stafford CoCo LoCo Shampoo and Conditioner.
Disappointing given they are £5.99 at full price for such dismal products.
