I finally brought the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette having seen and read so many amazing reviews!
This palette is probably the most talked and hyped about beauty product over the past summer and I was super excited to receive mine!
First of all, the packaging of this palette is simply stunning. All of Urban Decay’s palettes have superb packaging, but the Naked Heat palette tops all of them for me. Really lovely colours, eye catching and exciting looking.
And of course things get better when you open the palette – every shade (yes, all of them) is beautiful and I can honestly say I’ll be using each and every one. That’s quite a statement for a palette with 12 shades. Most people (including me) usually purchase palettes and only use about half of the shades, but Urban Decay have produced a real masterpiece here with truly exceptional shades which would work brilliantly all year round, both for day wear and evening/nights out.
This beautiful palette consists of matte and shimmer shades and also comes with a dual sided brush. It’s light and compact and has a good sized mirror and pretty much boarders on perfect for an eye shadow palette consisting of warmer colours.
The palette is so beautiful I almost didn’t want to touch it and mess it up! But I wouldn’t be a beauty blogger if I didn’t swatch across my arm!
The shades lifted onto my finger easily and they transferred on to my skin with ease (the mattes were easier than the shimmers). Some of the lighter colours were harder to get a good colour on but with an extra layer were fine and thankfully didn’t clump on my skin as I did.
I think this palette is gorgeous and I’m going to get a lot of wear out of it. It retails at £39.50 in the UK and is a beauty must have!
