Hi Guys!
I love a random browse around Boots and that’s exactly what I did last week! Found a few lovely bits too..
The first items straight into my basket were 3 hair products as there was a 3 for 2 offer.
I’d already heard about Pantene Pro-V’s foam conditioner and wanted to give it a go. I picked out the conditioner for fine, damaged hair. My hair isn’t fine but it does get quite damaged as I straighten my hair a lot. This is £3.00. for a 180ml bottle.
Next up, I brought Herbal Essences bio:renew Hydrate Coconut milk shampoo and Herbal Essences bio-renew Hydrate Coconut Conditioner. You guys know I’m a sucker for coconut smelling products and these smell divine! I’m a fan of Herbal Essences products and can’t wait to try these out! These are £6.00 each for 400ml bottles.
On the 3 for 2 offer I only paid for the Herbal Essences and got the Pantene Pro-V off my total on the offer.
I contained myself fairly well in the make-up aisles…
One mascara I’ve been wanting to try out for ages is L’Oreal’s Mega Volume Miss Baby Roll mascara. I’ve heard a lot of really good things about this mascara and I do love a great mascara! This comes in at £7.99.
Also at the L’Oreal counter I brought another mascara – L’Oréal Volume Million Lashes fatale mascara. This one came in at £10.99. I love the packaging of these two mascara’s and will give a full review on a future blog.
L’Oréal, too, had a 3 for 2 offer so I also picked up a black eyeliner. I picked up the L’Oreal Infaillible Gel Crayon 24H Waterproof eyeliner. This is usually £4.99 but as it’s the cheapest this was taken off the final bill in the offer.
Some really good purchases in the L’Oréal section I think! I’m looking forward to trying them out!
On the make-up theme, I also brought 2 make-up brushes from the Nyx stand.
The first one I picked out was the NYX Professional Makeup Pro Brush 06 – Fan. The brush is incredibility soft and dense. This fanned brush would be great for highlighting. This is priced at £14.00.
The second brush I brought was the NYX Professional Makeup Pro Brush 02 – Powder. This will be great to use to apply loose powder. This is also priced at £14.00.
My final purchase was a Burt’s Bees Coconut and Pear moisturising lip balm. Lip balms (and hand moisturisers) are essential for me and as we approach Autumn and Winter I know this Balm will look after my lips brilliantly. This came at a reasonable price of £3.99.
That’s all for this haul, I’ll follow up on reviews of the hair products and mascara’s once I’ve tried them out and formed an opinion for you all to read about!
Let me know in the comments below if you’ve tried any of these products and what you think of them!
