I’ve been trying out a few Clarins products and wanted to share some of my favorites with you as they are too good not to mention!
The first product is the Clarins Hydra-Essential SPF 15 face cream. This is my 2nd tub of the Hydra-Essential cream (although I don’t think my 1st one had the SPF in it). I really love this cream, it gives my dry skin some much needed hydration (as the name suggests!), but without any oily or greasiness. I love how clean the product feels when I apply it and it dissolves in to the skin wonderfully. It has a really lovely texture and leaves my skin feeling nice and soft. I absolutely adore this cream and would definitely recommend to anyone with dry skin looking for a new face cream.
While I’m on face creams, the Clarins Multi-Active Night cream is just as wonderful as the day cream! This cream targets fine lines, applies beautifully and smells incredible! I love the texture of the cream, there’s no stickiness or feeling of ‘product on face’ – it just dissolves right in to the skin. My skin looks and feels so much better in the mornings. Also, of all of the face creams that I’ve ever used this one smells the best by far but without being too overpowering. It’s just perfect in all aspects, I really believe Clarins did well with this cream!
The final product I want to talk about is the Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel. This product was really interesting to me – you apply it to dry skin and gently massage it in, it becomes an oil as you massage it and then when you rinse it with water it becomes a milky texture and you just wash it off the way you would with any other face wash. It’s a beautiful product and removes makeup easily leaving the skin feeling wonderfully fresh and clean. Some cleansers/makeup removers can leave my skin feeling really dry and tight but the Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel leaves my skin feeling really well moisturised, clean and soft. I LOVE this cleansing gel!
My favourite thing about all of the Clarins products that I have tried
(not just those above) is how clean they feel. They are so light and do not aggravate the skin at all, it’s just a complete lightness and freshness which seems to be the running thread through all of the Clarins products. The packaging for their products are wonderful, I love the pastel and light colours they use. Their entire aura is cleanliness and freshness which translates through the packaging and the products inside the tubes and tubs.
While Clarins are not cheap, I would not say they are too overpriced and definitely worth their price tag.
